‘e-learning indictators’ survey

Every year, the Framework conduct a survey ‘of the uptake and use of e-learning in vocational education and training (VET)’. The 2011 version captured student data. The results show that e-learning is part of the suite of delivery options that VET needs to provide. Access information about the surveys from the links below:

E-learning survey – 2011 results

One set of stats quoted is: “90% of VET students would like at least a little e-learning in their course, with 26% wanting a lot of e-learning.” I think this shows that there is the demand for it from the learners perspective. However, this needs to be of good quality and relevant to their needs. When planning any e-learning consider what the learners needs are right from the start, and build it in. We can help with the planning and implementation of e-learning programs.
